Our practice philosophy embraces each of our patients as individuals with individual needs. Every person has unique physical requirements and desires which must be discussed when evaluating the aesthetic benefits of cosmetic surgery. Jefferson K. Kilpatrick, MD, FACS, offers a private individual consultation to review your special needs. During this consultation, you will learn more about cosmetic surgery as well as the skills and experience of Dr. Kilpatrick and his staff at the Facial Plastic Surgery Center. You will also have time to ask any questions you may have concerning the procedure.

At the initial consultation, the procedure, possible complications, and post operative expectations will be discusssed. Your personal expectations concerning the procedure will also be reviewed at the time of the consultation.

Laser Hair Removal

Get rid of unwanted hair with the laser hair removal process. Our office uses the Apogee Laser Hair Removal System to removal unwanted hair. The laser sends a pulse of light that targets the hair follicle, where each hair grows. The light passes through the skin and is absorbed by the hair which destroys the hair follicle. Human hair grows in cycles. While some hairs are actively growing, others are in a resting phase. At the time of your first laser treatment, the laser will destroy the hair that is actively growing. The hairs that are in the resting phase will not be affected. Treatments should be spaced apart 6-8 weeks. The number of treatments needed depends on the area you would like to have treated.
