Our LightSheerâ„¢ lasers are safe, non-invasive and FDA- approved for permanent hair reduction.

Darker Skin Tones:
Known as the “gold-standard” for darker skin tones, our Cutera Coolglide™ 1064nm Nd:Yag laser is extremely safe and effective. This award-winning laser offers a longer wavelength for protection of darker skin tones. The Coolglide™ laser was the first 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser cleared by the FDA to permanently reduce hair in patients of all skin types (from lightest to darkest), those who are tanned or tanning and patients who suffer from Psuedo-Folliculitis Barbae (PFB). While some technologies require the suspension of treatments during the summer months, the Coolglide™ laser may be used year-round. For those with dark or tanned skin, this is the ONLY laser you should allow to touch your skin!
