Other times can be arranged with enough notice. Laser treatments go very quickly both legs can be done in one hour, lip 2 minutes, underarms 10 minutes.

Dorenda Stilwell,LE, LHP & Alice Saintsing,LE, LHP have been doing electrolysis for over 30 years and laser for almost 10 years. Though it is the work of the laser that destroys the follicle or parts of it so that hair will not grow, successful laser hair removal depends upon the skill and knowledge of the practitioner who manipulates and maneuvers the laser. That is, once the laser is selected, it is the mastery of the practitioner that will yield the best results. Because of Dorenda's and Alice's techniques and experience your session of laser hair removal will be comfortable and effective.

What can I expect during treatment?
After your consultation and all parties are ready for treatment, client will wear safety eyewear to protect your eyes from the laser light. Your practitioner will guide the laser to the treatment areas. Each laser pulse may be preceded and followed by a short pulse of cooling spray.

Does it hurt?
Some clients may feel a slight discomfort with the laser pulse, sometimes described as a snapping feeling. I have worked on ages between 13 and 80 with no problem and they were excited to complete the hair removal process.

Please keep in mind a laser must have pigment in the hair to remove it, so white, blonde and most red hair can not be removed with any laser on the market today. Only electrolysis will remove these permanently.

Are there side effects?
Side effects may include purpura (a small bruise) if client gets out in the sun, some redness and a very small amount of swelling which disappears within a few hours or less.
